Wow it has been a long time since I posted on the blog. So here is a quick update. Brent and Bradley are officially 7th graders and in Junior High and Miles, Marshall, and Madyson are officially 2nd graders. We are getting ready to move from Waxahachie and looking forward to moving closer to friends and out of Waxahachie. I am going to try and post to the blog at least once a week with new and exiciting things happening with the kids. Brent and Bradley have done awesome in band this year both getting all 1's in UIL competition and Bradley getting honorable mention for his clarinet solo. They also just did their last performance for band and it was great. Being a first year band they sounded awesome. They got all region at the last competion they had and at their awards ceremony next week are being Commended for making above a 90 on the Taks test in both math, and reading. I am one proud mom. They just keep amazing with thier awesome grades and talent. The little guys all did well in school this year as well making the A honor roll most of the year. And Marshall got to go on a field trip just for kids who had no marks in their folders all year, so he got to go to a Rangers game and was super excited about that. Madyson and Miles both did well in school as well and are all looking forward to moving. Hope everyone has a great memorial day.

Our Trip to Washington, D.C.

On June 25, Andrew, Brent, Bradley, my neice Abby, and myself got on a plane and headed to Washington D.C. This was the kids first time on a plane and they were excited. Our planed took off early that morning at 7:00 am and we landed a little after 11 at Ronald Regan National Airport. The flight was great, we had no turbulence and the kids did great. Bradley, Abby, and Andrew sat in front of Brent and I. And both the boys got windows seats, with the understanding Abby got a window seat on the way back. They had backpacks with things to read and do and they did not cause any problems.

Abby is like my sister. She has to check out every bathroom so she got up twice to go to the batroom even though I had her go before we took off, and Bradley got up once. Brent and I were troopers we did not get up once. Which is not unsually for me!! (I do have the bladder of steel) Walking through the airport Abby wanted to stop and shop but I told her we had plenty of shopping in the days ahead! So we got our luggage and headed to the rental car bus.

After getting our rental car we headed to the Pentagon to see the Pentagon Memorial. The Memorial was touching, it brought tears to mine and Andrew's eyes. This was our first time to visit and we explained to the kids exactly what happened on Septemeber 11,2001 when they were 2 years old.

We spent the whole day there. They had a blast. The museum had a science area that we spent a lot of time at.

Bradley at the American History Museum.
We had a blast and the boys enjoyed learning all about American Goverment and History. They are my little book worms. Their favorite place was the Spy Museum but we were not allowed to take pictures inside. After visiting the museum every where we went they said people were spys!LOL!!
Visiting the White House was hilliarous. My niece Abby saw this button on the fence and she ask me what it was. I told her I did not know but don't push it even though it looked as if it was broken. I told them that all in the yard of the White House were Secret Service Police but of course, they did not believe me until they saw someone in the bushes. It was getting dark so they could not see all the security. Well after that Abby decided she wanted to find out about the button. She turned around to a Secret Service Police officer that was sitting in his car behind us and ask what it was for. It use to be used to call up to the White House and he told her it was older than me. He then told her that people think when you push the button missles shoot out of the fountain. I just died laughing. After that they believed about anything I told them!!LOL!! I had some fun with that one.

Summer is here!!

Well summer is finally here and we have been super busy. I have not had time to post pictures form kindergarten graduation or 4th grade graduation but hopefully this weekend I can get to that. Brent and Bradley are off to church camp and I am sure their counselor will have tons of stories for me. He told me he was taking a journal so he can blog about it next week. I will be sure to include a link to his blog. So far we have gone to the water park, I got burned, every one else was fine. Go figure. I am the one who always tans!! Last week the boys had swim practice every morning so we got up and went to Fort Worth for Practice and then on Thursday they had their first meet. They did very well for thier first meet. I will share pictures with you of that as well. This week it is just Miles, Marshall, and Madyson so we have been having some fun times together. Yesterday we went to my friend Brandy's and went swimming with her and her kiddos (who are the same age) and then we came home and read books and "played school" they love to write in the journal's I bought them for the summer. They also like to color and practice writing and reading. Each week we go to 1/2 price books and get a gift card for reading the previous week. They enjoy getting to pick out new books each week. Although it can turn into a nightmare when 5 kids are all trying to pick out books. They have learned if they go to the clearance section they can possible get 3 books instead of one. So they aim to fine the dollar books! It is pretty funny watching them pick up a book and if it is not a dollar they will most of the time put it back, at least the three little ones will. That is pretty much all I have to report right now. I need to upload pictures for everyone to see their graduation. It was very sweet.

My babies are no longer babies!!

WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE!!

Wow this school year has flown by!! My babies are not babies anymore, they are "FIRST GRADERS IN TRAINING" Yes, you heard me right on June 4, 2009 they graduate from Kindergarten and will be heading to the first grade. They are finishing up the year with field day on Monday May 18 and then a Field Trip to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History followed by the big Kindergarten Graduation on Thursday June 4.

To start I need to brag on my "big boy" Miles. He started out the year being ony 5 for about 2 weeks so we have struggled with maturity and the once in a while behavior issue at school, typical "boy" in other words. I am glad to report that in last 3 weeks Miles has recieved 4 purple stars for expectional behavior, and on the other days received green, which is the best you can recieve besides the purple star which is awarded to one child a day. Last week he ended the week with 2 purple stars!! I am so proud of him. You may wonder why I call him my "big boy". Well Miles is almost as tall as Bradley and Brent. He is catching them very fast and will probably pass them at some point in the near future. He is tall and skinny and looks just like his daddy. I also have to say he has done very well with the transition of teachers. His teacher had a adorable litle girl back on April 15 so he has had a sub and after the first week of not wanting to go he has not had any issues.

Next comes Marshall, that little booger read me Green Eggs and Ham all by himself the other day along with another Dr. Suess book. He is doing very well at school and rarely gets in trouble. A funny story about Marshall, although it was not very funny at the time, I look at it now and think what a little toot. A few weeks ago he was eating breakfast at school with 3 other children from his class, well they all decided it would be fun to be late to class so they could get a "green late pass" to class. They all 4 walked into class late laughing about the fact they were late. Poor Mrs.Agee, she took all 4 boys to the office to talk with the assistant principle and then had to call all the parents to let them know what had happened. It just so happened, I was at the school later that morning so she did not have to call me. She just told me in person, what I foud funny was that as I walked in the room Marshall acting as if everything was fine and was given me tons of hugs and kisses. I soon found out the reason for so much love in front on his class mates. When he got home that aftenoon we had a talk about being late to class. He has not been late since then. Marshall is the child who will not do something to get in trouble in front of you, and everyone is always shocked we I tell them he did this or that. Well on another occasion he decided to be the class clown and got out of his seat while Mrs. Agee was out of the room and ran out into the hall way. I guess he figures he has been good for the most part of the year so he going to see what he can get away with the last six weeks of school. He is learning very quickly not much.

Madyson is reading and writing better and is doing great in dance. She did not get to do her "practice" performance at Mayfest this year because the event was canceled due to the SWINE FLU! It was a bummer but next week is her big performance and I have to say she looks so cute in her costume. I will take pictures at her practice next Wednesday and share with everyone. We are not allowed to video or photograph at the actual performance since it is being professionally recorded. As soon as I get the video I will upload her two performances. She is going to be a "Tiger in a tutu" and "Cowgirl" Now back to school. Madyson talks all the time at school. She sometimes gets in trouble for talking and her teacher told me that when she tells Madyson she has to pull her card and move it she will "twirl" to the chart pull her card and twirl back. With that being said she always gets green, so she really does not get into trouble except for talking every once in a while. (I wonder where she gets that from, surely not her mommy!!LOL)

I talked about Miles, Marshall and Madyson going to first grade but the BIG news is that Brent and Bradley are graduating from elementary school to intermideate school. They will be going to the new intermediate school (5-6 grade) next year and are very excited about getting to change classes and have different teachers for each subject It seems just like yesterday they where starting kindergarten now they are graduating 4th grade. They have a "clap out" ceremony the same day that the little guys graduate kindergarten, so that day is going to be a day full of tears. I am already prepared. Marshall actually told me I would cry at graduation!

For Mother's Day Bradley and Brent wrote a song for me. It was so cute. They both sang while Bradley "played" his guitar. I was very impressed. It was a great Mother's Day gift.

Brent made straight A's last six weeks at school. I was very proud of him. He brought all his grades up and went from the A/B honor roll to the A honor roll. He loves to read but his favorite thing to do is play video games. I sometimes think the Ninetendo DS is stuck to his hands. I just redid his and Bradley's room. It turned out really cute. They have a "surf board" themed room and it fits them both very well.

Bradley loves to read and loves anything to do with Science and writing songs. He has a notebook that he writes his songs in and appropriately has it titled "Bradley's Songs". He has been telling me that he is starting a band. I guess we will have to see where that goes. He also likes to play the piano. This summer I am going to sit down and teach him how to play the piano along with Madyson, I was a little younger than Bradley when I started to play so I am excited they both have an interested in the piano.

Bradley and Brent both went on a Field Trip last month to Austin for the day. They left the school on charter buses at 6:45 on a Thursday morning and came back around 8that night. They went to the Capital and to the Bob Bullock museam and came back with a lot of knowledge about the state capital.

You just have to see the next pictures to believe it!! On May 1 my sliding door on my van literally came off. I did not believe it when I was first told. I had to get up and look. And this is what I found!!

Photobucket

van door

The bad thing is that we just got it out of the shop and had only been home an hour when this happened. Andrew drove it back to the dealership without the door!!LOL!! I can only imagine what that looked like and the looks that he got while driving up Cooper Street without a door. When he pulled into the dealership they could not believe what they were seeing and were of course laughing. How could you not!! Needless to say I have had a rental van for the past week and don't know when I will be getting my van back.

Well I think that pretty much catches you up to this point. I hope everyone is having a great week.

Church Choir Performance and Madyson's fall festival

I know I am behind on posts!! Sorry! We have been
super busy around this house. With choir, dance, field trips, halloween,
and just the normal routine with 5 kids. Brent and Bradley had a choir
performance at church a few weeks ago and they played musical instruments as
well as sang. They both did very well. Bradley even put a "little groove" into
his singing but I was not able to get a picture because he was standing behind
his choir teacher. Hopefully when I get the video I will be able to show more.
Here are a few pics!!

The Field Trip to Green Meadows

Well we had a great time to the Green Meadows farm. Miles, Marshall, and Madyson had a great time. Some of the things they did made me think of when I was a kid at my grandparents farm. We use to chase chicken and roosters around and catch them. Which is what the kids got to do at the farm. At first they where all scared to touch them and then Marshall started picking them up. That was a big suprise to me. I figured it would be Miles. Madyson wanted nothing to do with the chickens nor did she want to milk the cows that the boys did. They all had a good time and at the end they all got to pic a pumpkin. Enjoy the pics.

Our Crazy Life

Sorry I have not blogged in a while. Things have been a little crazy around here. The kids and I are moving right along with school and the little guys actually have thier first field trip this week. They are very excited. Brent and Bradley also have their first field trip it is with music to the see the 5th and 6th grade sympony at one of the middle schoools. Thier big trip to Bass Hall to see the Nutcracker will be coming up soon and Brent is very excited. He loves nutcrackers so he can not wait to see it. Madyson had a dance performance last week I will try to get pics posted one day this week. She was so cute up there doing her little dance. She loves to dance. This year is her dance studios "BIG" performance so they are gearing up for that. She will be in two numbers and have two costumes. Hopefully her hair will have grown back a lot by then. It is growing back so I am thankful for that. Well that is about all that is going on with the kids and I. We did all have a fun weekend away from home. They boys got to announce at a rodeo they went to with my aunt. When she told me it reminded me of when I was pregnant with the quads and I was standing in the baby department at Target and hear a little boy say "Attention, Attention, everyone listen" I thought to myself at that time that poor mom. Then my cell phone rang and the fear came across my face. That child was mine! It was Bradley!! After the day at the rodeo my Aunt took them to see a magic show where they got to help the magician they really enjoyed that. Miles and Marshall stayed with my sister and got to do some early trick or treating with Mason and had a blast. Abby and Madyson got a girl trip with me and Nana. They had fun and mom and I had a great show and fun seeing my cousins. As soon as I get pics from my mom I will upload them from the fall festival. I am also starting back into photography so look for my photography blog to be coming soon.

Comparison Pics!!

Ok I have been ask by a few of my online friends to see pics of what I looked like when I delivered twins and what I looked like when I delivered quads! So here you go.

37 weeks with Brent and Bradley

Photobucket

Every inch of me was swollen from head to toe. My feet were so swollen I could not wear shoes. I remeber going to the hospital in a pair of flip flops of my sisters and they would not go on my feet but part way.

And this is me at 29 weeks on the way to the OR with the Quads. I was WAY bigger!! I did not know my stomach would ever stretch this big but apparently our bodies can do a lot more than we think it can.

Photobucket

Now I am in the mood for a few more comparison pics. I started looking at my online album and found this pic of Madyson. She was about 1 1/2 in this pic. What a little angel or should we say "DIVA" she loved these overalls and sunglasses. She actually still has the overalls and will not let me get rid of them. I am going to have to sneak them out while she is at school, and that is on my list. Cleaning closets.

Photobucket

Somethings Never Change!! She is still our "little diva" and still likes to wear sunglasses.

Happy Labor Day

Happy Labor Day! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. We went to Hawaiian Falls today and this is how it all went down!!

I have always thought Miles would be my adventurous child. All summer long he has been going to the water park and having a blast in the kiddie area. He is not afraid of any of the slides in there and will play for hours. On his birthday he adventured out more and road the "big kid" rides, granted there is not many but he still road them. All week long he has been asking me to go to Hawaiian Falls, he wanted to go there instead of school one day!!LOL!! So today the last day they are opened, we went and he had a blast along with the other kids.

Brent and Bradley are at the age they really don't want to hang out with mom so they took off with their cousin Abby and Abby's cousin Drake. So that left Miles, Papa, and me to ride the "big kid" rides. We started out on the slides that everyone could ride just outside the kiddie area. This was the first time I had been on these slides so I figured they where not much to worry about since any size child could ride them. It started out with my dad going down so he could be at the end when all the kids came down. Well he got stuck going down so I figured ok, this is more for the little guys. Next all the kids went down and they went down slow. When it was my turn, I literally flew down that slide. When I got to the end my dad said I came down the fastest. Well that would be my first and last time on the slide it scared me to death. I would have thought Madyson would have gone the fastest but I was wrong.

After that we took off to the wave pool for some more adventure!! Marshall was jumping in the waves and going underwater like a little fish. He has become very adventurous in the water the past few weeks and has showed a big interest in diving off the side and swimming to one of us. So today was no different, except he was jumping belly and face first into the water. The kid can do some major belly flops!LOL! I wish I would have had a water camera with me. Just imagine a little boy his size doing belly flops and you will just laugh thinking about it. Madyson had fun in the wave pool until the waves started crashing against her inner tube at that point she decided she would just watch from the side. The waves where no challenge to Miles he kept trying to go further into the water. Marshall started jumping the waves and then jumping into the waves face down. It was hilarious.

After that we decided to go ride "the toilet" or the correct name would be "Blow Hole Bowl" but the kids renamed it "the toilet" Gotta give them an "A" for that because it does look like a toilet bowl when standing at the top looking down. Miles road with me and Brent road with Papa, that left Abby to ride by themselves. We all had a competition to see who could go around the longest. Miles and I went around 1 complete time then got flushed down on our second round. We went down backwards and Miles laughed all the way down. Abby went around 2 times and then Brent and Papa won the reward they went around a full 4 TIMES! I think that is a record!! Anyway we all had a blast. After that it was time for a break and to each some lunch. While eating lunch all the kids keep going back and forth to the slide we started out with. Now I am pretty sure Miles was cutting because he managed to make it down faster than anyone else. I finally ask him and he told me "YES" like it was no big deal so we had a talk about waiting our term and not cutting in line in front of someone else.

Finally we where off to the "orange slide" that Miles had been begging me to ride. He would have been happy with just riding that because he had Mommy to ride with him. Him and I went down the orange slide and we both laughed all the way down. After that adventure it was time to get everyone together and leave. That was fun because as soon as I would have 4 one would leave to go find the other and then someone else would return. I finally told the 4 to stand still and the 5 would eventually come back. I think it was all a trick just to go ride one more ride!!LOL!! I have to give it to them they are all smart.

They will probably get one more chance to go to the park in a few weeks. Our school district is having a school Olympics there for elementary and intermediate students so we are going to try and go to that. That should be fun.

We are now resting and going swimming at the pool when Andrew gets home. Well at least the kids and Andrew are going. I think I might stay home and enjoy the peace and quiet for a short period of time.

5 Year Well Checks

WOW! Time has gone by fast. Yesterday we had our 5 year old well check appointments. 5 years ago we where all still in the hospital facing another 4 weeks before the boys came home and other 7 weeks before Ms. Priss decided to finally join us.

Let's start with Madyson.

At birth she weighed 1lb. 14 oz. and was 12 1/2 inches long. So imagine a ruler and she was a 1/2 inch longer than the ruler. That is small, you could hold her in your hand and when you looked at her compared to her daddy's hand she just seemed so tiny. Her hands where small but she had what seemed to be long skinny legs. All though she may still seem small she is actually not the smallest in her class!! Can you believe that? We are finally not the smallest. Ok her goes her stats as of yesterday. She finally weighs 30lbs. YIPEE!! We have waited for that moment for a LONG time. She is 39" tall and if she continues to grow on the current curve she is on she will be 5 feet tall and 100 lbs. Can you say PETITE!! And here is even BIGGER NEWS!! SHE IS FINALLY ON THE GROWTH CHART!!! YIPEE!! For 5 years she has not been on the growth chart and FINALLY we hit a milestone! Ok enough of my enthusiasm. But I am one happy mom. Finally she passed her eye and hearing test with flying colors. One funny note, while doing the hearing test Nurse Marsha told her to raise her hand every time she heard the beep. After the third time, Nurse Marsha ask her if she heard it again and Madyson looked at her and said " I have alread done it three times" We both just started laughing and her hearing test came to an end. She is such a prissy thing. Even her teacher told me that yesterday. Andrew says I have created a monster. I say I have created the Prissiest Girl ever!! She likes anything that has to with girls, especially Prissy girls!! Madyson will also be seeing a therapist because she is pulling her hair out. Yes, she has pulled all of it out from the back and is working on the front. Before long she will be completely hairless. She is big time into covering it up and wants to wear hats every where we go. Thus the increased focus on hats and other accessories.

Now onto Miles!!

At birth, he weighed 2lbs. 14oz. and was 14 1/2 inches long. He was the longest and weighed the most. And has been that way every since birth. He is going to be on tall kiddo. The doctor told me yesterday that if he where to stop climbing on the growth chart, which is not going to happen, he would be at least 5' 10" tall when he stops growing. But over the past year he has made some leaps and bounds on the growth chart and has made it to the 50th percentile for height. Now I know that may not be much to some of you. But I have never had a child in the 50th percentile for height. So I was SUPER excited. I knew he was getting tall but I had no idea he had grown so much over the last year. He went from the 30th percentile to the 50th. Ok so here are his stats. He officially weighs 36lbs. and is 42 1/2 inches tall. He did not pass his eye test so we will be seeing the eye doctor sooner rather than later. We still see the eye doctor once a year for being preemies and we are scheduled to see him in October but we will be seeing him in September now. I will let you know how that goes.

Before I move onto Marshall does anyone know what birth order I did??

It is REVERSE BIRTH ORDER!!

Madyson was "baby D", Mckenzie "was Baby C", Miles was "baby B", and Marshall was "baby A". Everyone always thinks Miles was "baby A" because he is bigger, but no he was "b", I remember his birth by laughter from all the nurses and Dr. Tabor. Miles made sure his plumbing worked. And as I learned on Thursday afternoon his plumbing still works. You will ALL find this funny. I picked them up from school by parking the car on the street that goes to our house then walking to the school because I was running late and did not have time to get across the street and walk back. Anyway, after I picked them up we got in the van and came home. I was trying to unlock the door and I hear Bradley and Brent laughing and yelling at me to turn around. I turned around to find Miles and Marshall water my grass with their "PLUMBING" Miles had his pants dropped to his ankles while Marshall just had it pulled out. To make matters worse they were not facing the house they were both facing the street so that anyone who drove by could see them. I was so embarrassed. I am sure my face was blood red. But as my doctor said yesterday "BOYS WILL BE BOYS" And I have 4 so I should be blessed that I have never seem Brent and Bradley do it. I am sure they have just not in front of me.

And Finally Marshall!!

He weighed 2lbs 10 oz. at birth and was 14 inches long. We always called him "our little old man" because he still had a ton of soft white hair all over his body. He did not liked to be messed with. I remember nurse Courtney always suctioning Marshall out while he was on the C-Pap. I would come in to that boy screaming at the top of his little lungs. And yes, he could scream loud. Nothing compared to his sisters whom you could hear all over the NICU, but he still had a loud cry. Marshall is not going to be much taller than Madyson. POOR BOY! Boys are not suppose to be this small if he continues on the same growth pattern he will be 5'5" and 125lbs. Now he has falling slightly off the growth curve so our doctor wants him to see the endocrinologist again and make sure nothing is going on. Madyson already seems him so he is just going to go when Mady goes in a few weeks. She thinks he may want to put him on growth hormones as well. If so it is no biggie. We already have Madyson on them and look what it has done for her. Marshall weighs 32lbs. and is 39 1/4 inches. Maybe next year he will be able to ride all the water slides. Miles is the only one who currently can and he loves it. He rides everyone of the slides and laughs all the way down. That doesn't surprise me since he has that dare devil look in his eyes. Madyson and Marshall love the kiddie area but are scared to go down in other slides. That again is not surprise they have always been that way. Besides going to the endocrinologist Marshall is in excellent condition and had no other problems.

Brent and Bradley go for their 9 year well checks next Friday so I will update you all then on their check ups. Have a good weekend!!

We Made it Through the First Week of School!!

Our first week of school is over and we all made it!!! Including Mom and Dad!! The afternoons after school proved to be hectic. They all came home HYPER you would have thought they had eaten a ton of sugar. But by about 7 the little ones went to sleep without any problems. This is what they looked like at night!! Oh how we love these moments. Nice and quiet and everyone fast asleep!!

Photobucket

Marshall is on the left and Miles is the one with his bottom up in the air! As far as their sheets. Well Marshall decided he needed to pull them off instead of sleep on them. And I was not waking them up to put the sheets back on.

After seeing the boys fast asleep and so cute.I decided to try and sneek into the princesses room and see what I saw. Now opening up her door you have to be very careful because she wakes up to the slightest sound.

Photobucket

What a sweet little angel! She had put this hat on sometime after I put her to bed.

And this is what happened when the flash went off!!

Little stinker!!

Madyson's first day of dance. She would not let me take her picture without having my sunglasses on so here you go!! She also got a new dance bag that I made for her out of some ballerina fabric I had left over she was super excited because she got a new bag and new tap and ballet shoes.

Photobucket

The little guys have a color chart system for behavior. Green means they have been good all day. We have a deal, bribe whatever you want to call it, with Miles, Marshall and Madyson. If they come home with a green on their folder everyday for the next six weeks Miles and Marshall are going to get more pieces to thier Geo Trax system and Madyson is going to get a new hat(she is into accesorizing right now)LOL!! As far as Brent and Bradley if they do well the first six weeks of school on their report cards they will get to buy a new game for thier PSP2, which they bought with their money they got for thier birthday. They are smart boys! They put all their money together ,and even tried to get the little ones to go in on it, so they could get a PSP2 and the guitar hero game. Andrew and I pitched in a little so they could get both. So now I hear a guitar being played all the time. They are bot very good at it, and have told me I suck at it. Which I do but I don't want to hear my 9 year old tell me that so we had a talk about telling people they suck.

5 Little Ducklings!! I mean 5 little Turners!!

Well today while walking home from school with the kids, I had this vision of what we must look like coming across the cross walk. First off I am sure someone is looking at all of us and thinking she has twins and triplets. I always get that comment. Anyway, I looked at Bradley, Brent and Madyson who where in front of me and then Miles and Marshall where holding my hand and I just thought we must look like a mother duck with her ducklings crossing the street. Which reminding me of a song the kids like I think it is called 5 little ducklings or something like that. Another funny thing is how they call the kids when I get there to pick them up. I refuse to drive because it would take forever and the school is just behind our house so it makes more sense to walk plus it gives us all some exercise. What you have to do when you walk up to get them or drive is you have a sign with the kids name on it and the teacher name and grade. Well I got smart on that one I was not carrying 5 signs with me so I put all of them on one sign. Yesterday Mr. Skinner the assistant principal called them "The Turner Triplets" and "Turner Twins" and then rattled off their names and teachers. Now Madyson gave him a funny look and I though "oh no" she is going to say something to him about being a "quad" and not a triplet. But luckily we escaped that and she just walked on out to us. That is something we really have not talked about with them that people are going to call them triplets because they don't know or they just don't know what to call them. I just let people call them triplets because it is easier than trying to tell someone about Mckenzie or getting that I am sorry conversation going. Anyway, today when I went up he decided he was going to try and say all their names and teachers names, he gets an "A" because he rattled them off better then I can when I am trying to get their attention. Kuddos to him!! Now I just need to get his air horn to use at home. That is what would get their attention!!LOL!!

Today was also Madyson's first day back at dance. She was very excited. Last night at 5:30 I decided to try her shoes on her and found out the child had actually outgrown her tap and ballet shoes. Now that is a big deal for her because she can normally wear shoes for a while. She went from a 7 1/2 in tap to a 9. I about fell over. I will try and post a pic tomorrow of her in her "new" dance outfit that she just had to have. Andrew called me a sucker, but I know if he would have taken her she would have walked out of there with the leotard and the hair bun she was trying to get me to get her. I told her she could get that when she let her hair grown long. Our goal on that is to have longer hair by December so that when our Christmas dance performances come along she has enough hair to put in a bun and slicked back like all the other girls. We are working on it. Keep your fingers crossed that she stops pulling her hair out and starts letting it grow back. Well check appointments are Friday so I will definitely post that evening with our new stats. Madyson I think is finally taller than Marshall. They will never catch up to Miles! He just keeps getting taller and skinner every day. I think he is going to be the tallest of all 5 considering he comes up to Bradley and Brent's shoulders currently. That boy is just tall!!

First Day of School

Well today was the first day of School. We hit two milestones today, Miles, Marshall and Madyson started their new adventure in Kindergarten, 3 classes and 3 different teachers. Madyson has Brent's Kindergarten teacher, who we also know from dance because both of her daughter's dance at the same dance school. Marshall and Miles both have great teachers also and they all three where excited to go to school. Brent and Bradley had a milestone their first day of their last year in Elementary school. Yes, next year they go to Intermediate school and apparently they will get to go to a new school that is being built down the street from my sister. We took the three little guys to class without any problems. No one cried Including Mommy!!! Now I almost did because Andrew was rushing me to get out of Marshall's class so I told him to BACK OFF before I started to cry. After that we where fine. After dropping the three little ones off we went to make sure Bradley and Brent made it to class OK. Of course, they where sitting at their desk doing work and like it was no big deal. I know next year they are just going to ask me to drop them off so I am preparing myself now for that change. Here are pics from the first day!! Enjoy!!

Miles, Madyson, and Marshall

And if you think you can ever get all 5 to look the same direction and all smile at the same time well that doesn't happen very often. So here you go!!

Brent and Bradley

Our little "old man" Marshall, that is what we call him sometimes he has the mannerism of an older person. He is also known as Little Larry since he looks just like his pepaw. He is also our go with the flow, mostly mellow child!!

Miles our Eager Beaver and has to have everything lined up just like he wants. Yes he has some OCD!!

And Finally the "Drama Queen" and our "little princess", Madyson with her mommy!! You should now she was coloring a picture of a Raccoon, because they are going to read the story "The Kissing Hand" today. Well little Ms. who has to have everything pink was coloring her raccoon PINK!! I do hope we outgrow this stage, because currently everything we color has to be pink. And mostly everything we put on is pink. Most likely my fault because she is the only girl and had tons of pink stuff when she was a baby. But doesn't she look like a doll in her hat and pink giraffe dress made by "yours truly"

I am sure they will all be ready for bed early tonight. I know I was tired just trying to get everyone out the door and to the right classroom. Tommorrow we are going to all walk to school because the line to get to the school is crazy!! We are also walking home from school today. If we don't it will be 4:30 before we get out of the school parking lot and they get out at 3:15.
