Comparison Pics!!

Ok I have been ask by a few of my online friends to see pics of what I looked like when I delivered twins and what I looked like when I delivered quads! So here you go.

37 weeks with Brent and Bradley

Every inch of me was swollen from head to toe. My feet were so swollen I could not wear shoes. I remeber going to the hospital in a pair of flip flops of my sisters and they would not go on my feet but part way.

And this is me at 29 weeks on the way to the OR with the Quads. I was WAY bigger!! I did not know my stomach would ever stretch this big but apparently our bodies can do a lot more than we think it can.

Now I am in the mood for a few more comparison pics. I started looking at my online album and found this pic of Madyson. She was about 1 1/2 in this pic. What a little angel or should we say "DIVA" she loved these overalls and sunglasses. She actually still has the overalls and will not let me get rid of them. I am going to have to sneak them out while she is at school, and that is on my list. Cleaning closets.

Somethings Never Change!! She is still our "little diva" and still likes to wear sunglasses.

I stumbled across your website while trying to find other mommies of quads. I can't believe how similar our stories are...I had twins first, fraternal girls born at 26 weeks, our daughter (Chloe) passed away at 12 hours old. Our surviving daughter, Macey, spent 5 months in the NICU due to multiple health problems, including an intestinal infection (NEC). She is now a spunky 5-year-old. When Macey was 4, I gave birth to quadruplets, two identical boys and two identical girls, they just turned one! You have a beautiful family!

Wow! Our stories are very similar. Congrats on surviving the first year with the quads!
